(CNN) — In the wake of catastrophic events Hurricane Iantheme parks, and other sites of interest to tourists have worked to reopen in hard-hit Florida and Carolina.

Here we report on the latest plans for various theme parks and other attractions in Florida, as well as the status of various cruises. Carolina’s top tourist attraction status appears near the end of this article.

Walt Disney World (Orlando)

Walt Disney World’s four major theme parks reopened on Friday.

Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf We reopened at 3pm on Friday. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Open from 5pm to 8pm typhoon lagoon The water park is scheduled to reopen on Sunday. (Blizzard Beach is closed for the season.)

Transportation at Walt Disney World The park opened for business as usual on Friday, but is subject to weather protocols, the park said.

Busch Gardens, Tampa and related parks

After Friday’s holiday, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay said on its website that it will reopen Saturday from 10am to 6pm.

This also applies to other Florida parks owned by the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment company.

• Adventure Island (Tampa): Saturday 10am-5pm
• SeaWorld Orlando: Saturday 9am to 8pm
• Aquatica Orlando: Saturday 9am to 6pm
• Discovery Cove (Orlando): Saturday from 8am to 5pm.

The company also said Discovery Cove will reschedule or refund reservations booked online or through its call center without cancellation or change fees. Please call 407-513-4600 for more information.

Those who have booked through a third-party reseller can rebook visit dates at specific parks, but those wishing to receive a refund should contact the reseller partner.

Universal Resort (Orlando)

Later Friday afternoon Universal Orlando Resort and Halloween Horror Nights will reopen to all guests on Saturday, according to the website.

The Universal Orlando Resort, including CityWalk, “phased reopening” on Friday for hotel guests.

The Halloween Horror Nights event was open to all guests with existing tickets on Friday at 5pm. Volcano Bay Water Park also reopened on Friday.

Legoland (Winter Haven)

After being closed on Friday, Legoland Florida reopened at 10 a.m. Saturday with normal business hours and hosted a Brick or Treat Presents Monster Party, the resort told CNN Travel in an email Friday afternoon.

Peppa Pig Theme Park opens at noon on Saturdays. Some Park Experiences may not be available. The LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGOLAND Pirate Island Hotel have resumed normal operations.

Legoland Water Park and Legoland Beach Retreat are temporarily closed.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (Cape Canaveral)

NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Merritt Island will reopen Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. center site.

MeCompark (Orlando)

As of 6pm on Friday, The Wheel was still closed. “As always, the safety of our guests is our number one priority and we will announce the reopening as soon as our technical team has completed the necessary inspections.”

Florida ports have a very active cruise schedule. Some statuses of these ship routes are:

Norwegian Cruise Line: The company canceled the 10-day voyage Norwegian Getawaywas scheduled to depart from Port Canaveral on Thursday.

As of 10:30 am on Saturday, Everglades National Park South Florida has partially reopened, including Shark Valley and Homestead entrances. Flamingo, Gulf Coast and some park areas remain closed.
Dry Tortugas National Parkis located on the western edge of the Florida Keys on the Gulf of Mexico, and as of 10:30 am on Saturday, hours have yet to be announced.

As of midnight Saturday, dozens of Florida state parks were closed. Amelia Island State Park (Nassau County), Don Pedro Island State Park (Charlotte County), Manatee Lake State Park(Manatee County) and Oscar Scherrer State Park(Sarasota County).

Zoo

Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens:The Sanford, Fla., complex will be closed “upon further notice.” zoo website said Saturday morning. The zoo said it hopes to reopen soon.
ZooTampa in Lowry Park:Attractions resumed normal hours on Friday, the zoo said website.

Carowinds (North Carolina/South Carolina)

Amusement parks south of Charlotte, which straddles the North Carolina-South Carolina state line, were closed Friday but reopened Saturday.get details on that website.

Brookgreen Gardens (Georgetown County, South Carolina)

The Botanical and Sculpture Gardens are closed on Fridays and Saturdays for cleaning. Brookgreen plans to reopen at 9:30 am on Sunday. on that website late Friday afternoon.
